Privacy

The MRZ is sensitive personal data. The toolkit is built so it never needs to leave your device.

  • · Validation runs entirely in your browser. The MRZ you paste is not uploaded, logged or stored by this site.
  • · Share links keep the MRZ in the part of the URL after the #. Browsers do not send that part to the server.
  • · The only thing stored on your device is your theme preference (light, dark or system).
  • · There are no accounts and no analytics on the text you enter.
  • · The API processes a request in memory and does not persist it; callers are responsible for how they handle their own request logs.
